We design and build all play equipment and accessories in accordance with UNI EN 1176:2018 (European playground safety standard) to ensure maximum safety for users. All regulatory requirements are observed to minimise the risk of accidents. The standard applies to different types of play equipment and provides general and specific recommendations for materials, forms and dimensions, as well as methods for testing conformity to requirements. Compliance with these standards is recommended in Italian Environment Ministry criteria (CAM) as a guarantee of the product.
Macagi is also committed to providing our customers with our experience for the proper installation and management of the park equipment we design (to UNI 11123). In this catalogue, customers will find clear recommendations for the minimum space needed for the safe installation of equipment, the maximum fall heights of each piece of equipment (HIC), as well as the appropriate safety surfacing (taking account of the use of safety tiles with minimum modular dimensions of 50 cm).
