We give our customers an assurance of quality. We only use select raw materials and components that are weather-resistant, hard-wearing and natural. We have obtained a series of qualifications and certifications of which we are proud. The UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard assures high levels of quality in all production processes. We apply the UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 environmental standard in our production processes and use materials that are either recyclable or can be fully disposed.
The FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) monitors the procurement and use of commercial wood, ensuring it can be traced right from the forest of origin. We are also part of PEFC TM (Programmed for the Endorsement of Forest Certification), an alternative to existing certification schemes which monitors the sustainable management of forests according to specific criteria.
All our play equipment and accessories are designed and built to maximum safety standards and comply with UNI EN 1176 and 1177. We have SOA certification attesting to our reliability as a supplier in the Italian OS24 public works category (green spaces and urban furniture). The woods we use are treated in autoclaves with non-toxic copper salts using special pressurised timber impregnation techniques, which increase their durability and reduce their susceptibility to decay, while respecting the environment. We also use polyethylene, which is non-toxic, hardwearing and completely recyclable. Some of our products are built entirely from steel or aluminium alloys, both of which can be recycled indefinitely.
Macagi has always protected its team, the commercial technical know-how that animates the staff at all levels represents a real capital to be protected and encouraged. The new ISO 45001: 2018 certification in the safety field was obtained, internationally recognized as one of the most rigorous, which replaces the previous BS OHSAS 18001 certification and which regulates the safety and health management systems of workers.
